Urgent Care Center FAQS
1. Are you a
“regular” doctor’s office?
Yes. Doctor Boris and Sofia Vaisman see patients
Monday-Friday primarily by appointment. Times are set aside
to see patients with urgent needs on a first come first
serve basis.
2. What are your hours?
We are open 9-6
Monday through Friday
3. Do you accept my insurance?
We accept most insurance plans including: Medicare, PPO’s,
HMO’s and cash. There are some exceptions. Please feel free
to call the office for details.
4. What if you are not in my network?
We have agreements with most major insurance carriers. If
you are currently assigned to another physician and would
like to see Dr. Vaisman, you can call your insurance carrier
and asked to be reassigned.
5. What am I required to pay?
At the time of service, you will be required to pay your
co-pay as it is designated by your insurance. As with any
visit to any physician, upon receipt of t your explanation
of benefits (EOB) from your insurance carrier, you may also
be required to pay your deductible or any co-insurance that
is determined to be the patient responsibility by your
insurance provider.
6. What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard or cash. No checks please.
7. How long should it take for a referral to come to me
after I have seen the doctor?
A referral
usually is mailed from your HMO group and takes 3-5 business
days.
8. What do I do if I am running out of my medication and
need a refill?
It may be time to schedule a follow up and see the doctor.
If you are not sure please have your pharmacy fax a refill
request to the office for the doctors to review. They will
refill it if they feel it is appropriate. The fax number is
